One combined visit that covers your contact lens exam and your fitting, everything in a comprehensive eye exam plus the measurements, trial lenses, training, and follow-up needed to wear contacts safely and comfortably.

Contacts sit directly on your cornea, so fitting them correctly is a health decision, not a convenience one. Dr. Jake measures your eye's curvature, tear film, and vision needs, then trials the right lens on your eye before finalizing your prescription.

There's no single best contact lens. The right lens depends on your prescription, your tear film, your eye shape, and how you'll actually wear them. Our fitting process finds the modality and brand that work for your day, whether that's daily disposables, bi-weeklies, monthlies, toric lenses for astigmatism, or multifocals for presbyopia.

For patients with keratoconus, post-surgical corneas, or high astigmatism, we offer specialty fitting options and coordinate with regional specialists when a more advanced lens design is needed.

Whether you're brand new to contacts or you've worn them for years, an annual contact lens exam and fitting check keeps your Rx current and your corneas healthy.

How it works

   Comprehensive exam

   Full vision and eye-health check, including digital retinal imaging, to establish your baseline.

   Contact-specific measurements

   We measure corneal curvature, tear film, and pupil size to guide the initial lens choice.

   Trial lens in-office

   You wear a trial lens while we evaluate fit, movement, and vision.

   Take-home trial

   Most patients go home with a trial pair to wear for a week or two in real life.

   Follow-up & finalization

   We adjust brand, base curve, or modality until it's right, finalize your Rx, and set up your supply.

How to prepare

• Bring your current contacts (if you wear them) or the box
• Wear glasses to the appointment, not contacts
• Bring your insurance card
• Plan to spend at least an hour
