Serving the Black Eagle community

Black Eagle families used to drive across town or out of the community for routine eye care. We make it easier: whether you work near the historic ACM smokestack or commute across the river into Great Falls, you can plan an annual eye exam, pick out new frames, and pick up groceries in one stop.

Local eye care without the cross-town drive

For Black Eagle families the biggest change is time. A 6-minute drive to Smelter Avenue means an annual eye exam is easy to schedule around school pickup, a Walmart run, or a shift change. Because appointments are recommended but walk-ins are welcome subject to availability, you have flexibility if the day gets away from you.

We are happy to schedule family members back to back, kids at Lewis & Clark or Great Falls schools, plus parents and grandparents, so one trip covers everyone.

Diabetic and preventive screenings close to home

Every comprehensive eye exam at our Great Falls office includes digital retinal imaging, so we can screen for diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular changes year over year. If you or a family member is managing diabetes, an annual diabetic eye exam is one of the most important preventive visits you can book, and we coordinate directly with your Great Falls PCP or endocrinologist.

If a Saturday visit in Conrad is more convenient than a weekday in Great Falls, that option is available too, though for most Black Eagle patients the Great Falls office is the fastest trip.
